Flux → Magnitude
Converts a flux density to an AB magnitude. If your flux is f_λ, supply the wavelength so it can be converted to f_ν first.
Optional: convert to absolute UV magnitude (M_UV) at the shared redshift above, using M = m − 5·log10(D_L/10pc) + 2.5·log10(1+z) — the standard flat-f_ν K-correction used in UV luminosity-function work.
